Sundown Privacy Policy

Sundown does not collect, sell, share, track, or transmit personal data.

Sundown is a Mac menu-bar utility that adjusts display color locally on your device. The app stores only its red-tint level in local macOS preferences so your setting can be restored the next time you open the app.

Sundown does not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, third-party tracking SDKs, server accounts, remote databases, or network services.

Sundown requests Input Monitoring permission only so it can detect the Command + Shift + brightness up/down shortcut. The app uses listen-only keyboard/HID event monitoring for those shortcut keys. It does not record, store, transmit, or inspect typed text.
