Sundown Support

Sundown is a Mac menu-bar utility for applying a deeper red display tint.

Common Fixes

If the keyboard shortcut does not work, open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, then Input Monitoring, and enable Sundown. Relaunch Sundown after changing the permission.

Use Command + Shift + brightness up to increase red tint.

Use Command + Shift + brightness down to decrease red tint.

Use the Sundown menu-bar icon to turn tint off or quit the app.

Privacy

Sundown runs locally on your Mac. It does not collect data, create an account, use analytics, or connect to a server.
